Choose New customer build and select a year, make and model, or enter a 17-character VIN for lookup. Review the returned vehicle and any available trim or specifications before creating the build. Manual entry is available when a vehicle or detail is missing.

On an existing build, open Vehicle details in the photo step to correct the saved information. VIN lookup does not confirm wheel width, offset, bolt pattern or the installed wheel package. After changing vehicle details, check that the photos and current measurements still match the vehicle.

In Vehicle & photos, upload up to three JPG, PNG or WebP images, each up to 10 MB, or use Take photo on a phone. Start with a front three-quarter view at about 30–45 degrees, with the whole vehicle and both visible wheels in frame. A straight side view and a straight front or rear view make useful supporting photos.

Keep the wheels straight, the camera level and the lighting even. Use as main chooses the viewpoint for the generated image. One photo is enough to render; supporting photos provide reference information rather than separate output angles. Replacing a photo requires fresh previews and preserves selected products and saved estimates.

Open Vehicle & photos, then Current setup, factory references & measurements. Confirm the current tire sidewall size and suspension setup. The sidewall calculator provides nominal tire and rim diameters; it does not establish wheel width or offset.

Factory references are available for a limited set of matching vehicles. Apply an option only after checking it against the actual vehicle, especially when it already has modifications. For other vehicles, use confirmed current measurements and leave unknown details blank. Product selection and visual readiness still require the shop’s fitment, clearance and installation review.

On the vendor’s product page, select the exact size, finish and other options. Open the pinned BiltRides extension and choose Capture part to use the product image, Crop & capture to select an area of the screen, or Capture visible screen to use the visible page. The mini builder opens with the captured part for review.

Check the shop, choose the customer vehicle and select Add to vehicle. To collect a part without a customer build, choose Save to Shop parts for later, then Save to Shop parts. Review the selected version and the captured details before rendering. Parts with enough visual information can be selected in the build; otherwise, complete the missing size, variant, image or placement details. Incomplete captures do not replace an existing selection.

Adding a part does not purchase it or start a render. Review the saved part and use its Edit or Remove controls when needed. On a phone or tablet, open Add a part and use Paste link & import or Upload screenshot instead. Vendor pages vary, so check the imported image and product details before saving.

When a website price is available, BiltRides saves it privately with the source listing, capture date, selected variant and any known item, set or kit basis. Open Private website reference (optional) on the capture page to inspect it. Missing price or package coverage can be reviewed later and does not block capture or rendering.

Download the capture extension ZIP from the app and extract it. For a first installation, open chrome://extensions or edge://extensions, enable Developer mode and use Load unpacked to select the extracted extension folder. To update an existing installation, replace the files in its installed folder and click Reload.

Confirm extension version 0.3.0 for Capture part, Crop & capture and Capture visible screen. Refresh the application and mini-builder tabs after updating. Downloading a ZIP alone does not update an installed extension. Finish pending captures before closing an old mini-builder session. If a product image is missing, check for an image-host permission prompt, choose another image, or use Crop & capture. Manual image upload remains available.

Open Private pricing & catalog for the captured part and review its exact variant, image, selling price and installation details. Leave Save to shop catalog for future builds checked when saving, or use Save to shop catalog on an already reviewed part. View in catalog opens its entry in Wheels, Tires, Lift kits or Accessories.

A matching SKU can reuse an existing catalog product without overwriting its saved price, image or installation defaults. Conflicting sizes or finishes need correction or a distinct variant SKU. Catalog availability does not track physical stock, and supplier prices and availability do not update automatically. Saving a catalog copy preserves the current build and its saved estimates.

With a lift kit selected, the mini builder shows Front change and Rear change above Render build. Enter the intended change in inches from the photographed vehicle, then choose Save ride height. Enter 0 to keep an axle at its current height; positive values raise it and negative values lower it. Blank means unknown. The supported range is −8 to 8 inches.

Published kit heights are reference information and do not automatically fill these customer-specific values. Each version needs its own confirmation. Unsaved height changes block rendering and switching destinations or versions. Save to continue, or use Discard to reload saved values. Saving ride height does not generate an image.

Select Version 1, 2 or 3 and review its selected parts. You can start an empty version with Copy parts from another version, then adjust its choices. Complete any missing visual details, save pending edits and choose Render build. Price and labor can be completed later in Private pricing & catalog or the Private quote workspace.

Each render produces one concept image from the main photo’s viewpoint. Switching versions does not generate a new image. Changing visual selections can make a preview out of date; render that version again before presenting it. Use Compare versions to review alternatives, and check the result against the original vehicle and product references.

A completed preview opens with the original photo on the left and the proposed build on the right. Drag the centered handle with a mouse or touch, or focus it and use the left and right arrow keys. Home and End move to the edges. Without a valid render, the viewer shows the original photo alone.

Fit/Fill, zoom and pan apply to both images together. Moving the divider changes only the view; it does not generate another image or change your estimate. Print / PDF shows the complete proposed image with its concept label.

Open Private pricing & catalog on a part, or open Private quote and choose Review details & private pricing. The captured website reference, actual shop cost and customer selling price are separate. New shop-cost and customer-price fields stay blank until you enter them; a captured website price never fills either field. Previously saved values are preserved.

Review the website reference against its source, capture date, selected variant and package coverage. Enter your confirmed shop cost if known, and set your own customer selling price including any markup. Confirm whether your selling price covers one item, one set or one kit, and how many required units it covers. Shop cost uses that same selling package and remains optional.

Package coverage determines the quoted quantity: a confirmed set of four wheels is priced once when four wheels are required. Review installation minutes, the shop’s labor rules and any version-specific charges before saving the estimate. Accessories require explicit installation minutes; for wheels, tires and lifts, blank uses the shop rule and 0 means no labor.

Parts marked Price pending can be rendered, but need selling price, quantity and installation review before an estimate can be created. Use Present build to show the vehicle and selected parts without prices. In Private quote, review the completed estimate and its warnings, then choose Present proposal to show customer pricing. Website reference prices, shop costs and supplier links stay out of that customer presentation. Use Save estimate & export JSON to save a snapshot; later catalog changes do not alter it.

If Render build is unavailable, review the message beside the controls. Check that a main vehicle photo is ready, the selected parts have their required visual details, ride-height changes are confirmed when needed, and all current edits are saved or canceled. A known rim and tire size conflict must be corrected before rendering.

During generation, the builder shows the current stage and an estimated time remaining. This countdown is an estimate, not measured progress or a guaranteed completion time. If it reaches zero, Taking longer than estimated means the current request is still being processed; it does not call for a second render request.

If a request fails, read the error before retrying. For support, include the affected customer build and version, what you were doing, and the exact error text. Avoid sending passwords or payment-card details.

If Images & billing is available for your shop, open it to see the current allowance and next-render information. Shop owners can start a trial, purchase images, change plan settings and use Manage billing when those options are available. Other assigned staff can view usage and use the shop’s existing allowance.

When enabled, the trial lasts 14 days from owner activation or 30 completed images, whichever comes first, with no automatic paid conversion. Pro is $400 per month for 200 completed images per billing period, before applicable tax. Check the plan and charge information shown in the app before confirming a purchase.

One completed output is one image, regardless of how many reference photos were uploaded. Viewing a saved image or moving the comparison slider does not use another image. If billing controls are unavailable or an allowance needs review, contact support; this help article does not activate a plan or start a trial.
